Google’s partner program has just released a new directory of companies that have validated their “Google Certified” in different areas: advertising (search and display), video, shopping, apps.
Thus, for France, 571 companies are Google partners for the domains in question.
Furthermore, be wary of a statement that can create confusion: the “Search” domain indicated on the site actually means “Search Ads” or the insertion of advertising (Google Ads) in the engine’s search results, but in no way way the SEO . Google does not award “label” or “certification” let alone “partnership” in terms of SEO. This is SEA (Search Engine Advertising) only.
The Google Partners program is therefore globally focused on advertising. We can also regret the very ambiguous term “Search” used by Google, while “Search Ads” would have been much less ambiguous. Are you going to keep a vagueness on this topic? Hard to say.
