Many people use the free blogging platform offered by Google viz bloggers. It turns out that this free platform offers the possibility to monetize your blog (or website) simply through the distribution of advertisements. So, how do you activate monetization on your Blogger space? Let’s find out today!

Monetization of the blog on Blogger

Google has its own advertising distribution network, it is not surprising to find that it is this network that is offered on Blogger to activate monetization. In short, we have a free blog offered by Google and we can monetize with Google’s home advertising network, which is therefore AdSense.

How to activate monetization on your blog or Blogger site?

Have an Adsense account

If you want to monetize your blog/blogger website, you will need an Adsense account. If you already have one, great! If you don’t have an Adsense account, you should create one.

Be careful if you already have an AdSense account. Don’t create a new account just for your Blogger blog. Indeed, for years now, it has been very important to comply with a rule with the Google AdSense advertising network. AdSense rules only allow one account per publisher/blogger.

Connect your Blogger blog to Adsense

When you’re on Blogger, go to the “Revenue” tab on the left (fourth from top). Click on the tab and look to the right for what is shown to you. Very often when the link between Adsense and a blogger blog hasn’t finished yet, you may see a message stating: “There was a problem with the AdSense information on your blog. Log in to AdSense and verify that your blog’s domain name (yourblogname.blogspot.com) is listed as site. »

Submit your blog address to AdSense

This means that you have to go to indicate the address of your blog on the AdSense site. You will be offered a link to Adsense and you will then need to click this button. Once on AdSense, go left and click on ” SITE (s“. On this page, click on the “Add a site” button at the top right. This will allow you to add your blog address. Once you have pasted the address, you will have to validate your action by clicking on the button below labeled “Save and continue”.

Review of a blog or website

Be careful though. Just because you submit a blog or website to AdSense doesn’t mean it will automatically be accepted after a certain amount of time. The site will actually be reviewed. So, if you don’t have content, articles and pages yet. Or very little, your site will probably not be accepted. If so, you will need to create additional content in order to be able to resubmit your website/blog address. This also applies to any other classic website outside of Blogger that would be subject to review.

Control how ads appear on your blog

Posting advertisements on a blog to monetize is not necessarily easy for people who would like to earn some money with their blog, but who are fully aware that this can sometimes annoy internet users and mobile users.

In addition, AdSense through Blogger will allow you to choose the most suitable view for you to advertise on your blog.

Control how ads appear on your blog

If you prefer to choose down to the smallest detail where to display the ads on your blog, all you have to do is click on the link below the three proposed displays. You will then enter the Blogger template customization interface and can place the ads exactly where you want them.

Disable monetization and ad serving on your Blogger blog

Perhaps you already have AdSense advertising on your Blogger site. If you want to remove the diffusion of advertising and thus disable this monetization, you must go to the “Revenue” tab of Blogger. Then, once you see the page, scroll down to the bottom until you see the button: “Remove AdSense”. A window will appear when hovering over the page stating that this will unlink your blog/site from the linked AdSense account. Simply validate your action to run the deactivation of monetization through advertising on your BLOGGER web space.
