It was expected! The precious sesame has been released, in the form of a certificate, which allows DPE certified real estate diagnosticians to carry out the mandatory energy audit on individual homes. These certificates are drawn up by the certification bodies and are valid for nine months from issue.
Two models are available, depending on the conditions under which the diagnostician demonstrates his ability to carry out audits:
- the completion of training for the implementation of the audit, for less than 6 months
- the completion of three energy audits by the diagnostician, in the last two years, having been subject to a favorable assessment by the certification body
“This certificate must be presented to the landlord or his agent when visiting the accommodation and attached to the energy audit”, the Ministry of Ecological Transition said on its website. The Energy Audit FAQ, updated on Tuesday 4 October.
Another certificate model is also envisaged which extends the validity of the first two until 31 December 2023. It will be issued after the certification body has assessed and validated two energy audits carried out by the diagnostician.
