The equipment will be made available to players from Racing Club Pradétan, futsal teams and local athletes, who will benefit from three training courses.
LAST GENERATION
This necessary redevelopment was carried out by Méditerranée environnement for an amount of 844,320 euros. The works focused on laying a latest generation synthetic turf with a layer of flexibility, guaranteeing comfort and safety for rugby practice. They have allowed the drainage to resume, the sprinklers to be replaced with much more water efficient sprinklers, the lighting to be renewed and the nets to be replaced.
Mayor Hervé Stassinos thanked the elected officials and civil servants who worked to ensure that this project was carried out in the best possible conditions. He had a thought for Claude Mesangroas, the former mayor, who was behind the creation of this new stadium and the Maison du Rugby.
The synthetic turf was inaugurated in the presence of Jean-Claude Vega, deputy delegate for works, Agnès Biasutto, deputy delegate for sport, Sébastien Rizza, president of the Ligue Sud de Rugby, and Jean-Marie Marchant, president of Racing Club Pradétan.
TO NOTICE…
This work was financed by the City Council and by the DETR (Prefecture of the Var) for 30%, by the Department for 31.90% and by Métropole TPM for 8%.
